I also have a pet peeve: bad journalism. You know, the kind that scares people when a new article comes out proclaiming that [beloved health food] is actually bad for you, or that weight loss will wreck your metabolism.

This is why I started a blog. I want to answer confusing questions, cut through conflicting information, and provide a well-worn, predictable guide to weight loss, fitness, and health.

I also started a blog so that I would stop talking clients’ ears off when they asked a simple question.
